Learning objectives

  1. Identify the original shape of Universal and Gracey Curettes and Sickle Scalers.
  2. Identify a poorly sharpened instrument.
  3. Apply course principles to correct or prevent sharpening errors.
  4. Consistently sharpen instruments accurately using the ErgoSharp method.

Important — please bring

  • Your loupes and your sharpening stone/card
  • One of each of your own instruments:
    • Universal curette
    • Gracey curette
    • Sickle scaler

ErgoSharp devices will be provided for the seminar.
